UNITE & BIKE AGAINST CANCER 2013

Join this special challenge to raise funds for Cancer and Polio Research Fund's fight against cancer. In October 2013, men and women of all backgrounds will unite to start one of the best rides of their life…UNITE & BIKE AGAINST CANCER 2013. This spectacular 400km cycling challenge has to be the best around – an amazing route has been developed to give you some great riding, but also give you the chance to see the BEST sights that Africa has to offer. Our challenge will see us cycle from the lower slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro, through Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, both of which boast some of this planet's most amazing wildlife. Cycling further, we bike through Maasai villages to eventually finish at the jaw-dropping UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Ngorongoro Crater Reserve. We would struggle to fit any more in to this amazing challenge!

The friendships formed and the memories made will make this the ultimate ride of 2013.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 – Depart UK for our overnight flight to Arusha, Tanzania.

Day 2 – Arrive Arusha and transfer to hotel. Bike fitting and briefing about challenge ahead.

Day 3 – Weru Weru Lodge to West Kilimanjaro, ending at the Olpopongi Maasai Village. Cycling distance – approx. 61km

Day 4 – West Kilimanjaro to Arusha. Cycling distance – approx. 77km

Day 5 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Cycling distance – approx. 88km

Day 6 – Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park. Cycling distance – approx. 84km

Day 7 – Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Gate. Cycling distance – approx. 39km. This evening, we hold our UNITE & BIKE AGAINST CANCER celebratory meal.

Day 8 – Ngorongoro – free morning to take an optional game drive. Afternoon transfer to airport for overnight flight back to UK
